Leadership

Pastor Derek is the founder and lead pastor of Church On The Rise -OKC and the Executive Director of CDC On The Rise a 501c3 non-profit community development corporation.  A man of many hats,  he is a husband, father, author, and a board certified Family/Emergency Nurse Practitioner.  Pastor Derek and his wife Ebonie live in Edmond, OK with their daughters Rhylann and Gianna and son Derek II (D.A.). 

Ebonie, who we simply call "Lady E," is a nurturing mother, a dedicated servant-leader, and the loving wife of our Pastor/Founder.  She is a Registered Nurse as well as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, with a passion for helping women develop physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She serves as our Titus 2 Women's leader and is a Community Manager for Soul Circles, an international women's ministry dedicated to the discipline of life transformation through Bible literacy.  

Tim Lane, serves as the Administrative Pastor for Church On The Rise and is also the Executive Administrator for CDC On The Rise.  A man with a heart for serving people,  he also serves as a Director for Arise Single Moms. 

Allegra serves as the Music Ministry/Praise and Worship Team Lead. She has a heart for worship and cultivating not just the musical talents of those she encounters, but she is a gifted speaker/communicator devoted to the spiritual development of those she serves and serves with. Allegra is married to Nathaniel Watkins and they have 3 small children.
